Meet Victor Manuel

A former U.S. Marine, devoted husband, and father of four, Victor Manuel has lived in McKinney for six years after growing up in GarlandVictor and Suzi Manuel dish out ice cream at the McKinney Crank-Off Victor is an IT consultant and his wife, Suzi Manuel, works in the Information Services department of Orthofix, Inc. in McKinney. They have three boys and a daughter who attend all levels of McKinney schools. Winter is at Vega Elementary, and Edward is at Scott Johnson Middle School. Anthony and Patrick attend McKinney North High School and Collin College, respectively.

Victor is active in McKinney schools, serving on the board of the Vega Elementary PTO while his wife serves on the board of the McKinney North High School Band Boosters. He has held the positions of President of the McKinney Gifted and Talented Children's Group and Vice-President of the MNHS Band Boosters.

Helping out his community has led Victor to join the board of his neighborhood Home-Owners Association as their Ombudsman, so that he can help citizens new to the area gain a foothold and understand their community. Victor also serves on the boards of the Heritage School of Dance and the JEM Arts Company. His work in the Arts continues monthly as Victor hosts the McKinney Poetry Slam every second Saturday at Saxby's Coffee. Edward Manuel III give his father a flag at the Memorial Day Ceremony

Victor is in Collin County for the long haul, and has the vision and drive needed to lead our County into the 21st Century. He is a proud alumnus of Leadership/Citizenship McKinney and is the community liaison for several projects at Orthofix, Inc.

Victor Manuel continues his dedication to our community by meeting with individuals and civic groups throughout the precinct, as well as appearing at civic events in both Collin County and our state's capitol. His goal is to understand the needs and desires of the taxpayers. "There is no silver bullet to help us resolve the many issues we face due to rapid growth. We must reach a consensus on Growth, Water Development, Taxes, and Toll Roads. Then we can build a future for all of Collin County!
